Meow meet Raya! Raya is still waiting. A soft silver grey little girl with eyes that quietly ask, “when is it my turn.”? She watched her brother and sister get chosen one at a time. She watched families scoop them up with excitement, promising forever. And each time the door closed, Raya stayed behind - smaller somehow, quieter somehow- trying to understand why she was the one left in the room. There is something especially tender about her. She simply waits...hoping someone will see her. When you do...the moment you reach out your hand, Raya melts. She leans into your touch like she’s been holding her breath all day just for that kindness. Pick her up and she presses her tiny body against your chest. Purring saying “please don’t put me down”. She loves to be held - truly loves it - resting her head on your shoulder, completely trusting and devoted. She is affectionate in the purest way. She doesn’t just want pets instead a connection. She wants to belong to someone. She wants to wake up in a home where she isn’t left behind. And playful too - still so young, still full of spark. A little toy brings out so much joy and carefree happiness but what she longs for most isn’t toys, but love. Raya isn’t just looking for a house. She is looking for her human. Someone who will choose her, hold her, and never let her wonder again....are you her human?

Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm. All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted.

Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many that are not posted yet.

Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives.

No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so). We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.
