Meow meet Queenie! She is short and stout like the most adorable little meatball, with a little white “milk mustache” adding all the more charm! Queenie has been a staple at Forever Love Rescue, loved by all that know her. She has spent the past few years as our resident kitty along with her beloved boyfriend Beanie, whom she was deeply bonded to. We sadly lost Beanie this year at the incredible age of 17! While our entire staff is endeared by Queenie, since losing Beanie we sense she is longing for something more... she is ready to spread her wings and settle down into a home of her own and comfortably live out her golden years. She enjoys and can find comfort in other cats, however, she would also thrive in a home by herself, being the center of attention. Please keep in mind if interested in adopting Queenie that she is a senior girl. While she is in good health now, she may require more routine and regular vet care as time goes on. She will also need watched anytime a door to the outside is open as she is very curious about life outside the home. Queenie is ready to be the face that gently wakes you in the morning, the one who sits at your feet while enjoying your morning coffee, your shadow as you walk room to room, your cozy couch buddy on movie night, your partner in crime, and the sunshine on your darkest days. She will be the most , loyal, devoted friend you have ever had! The love she gives is rare, pure, and sacred. She is ready to be treasured and adored as the QUEEN she truly is!

Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm. All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted.

Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many that are not posted yet.

Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives.

No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so). We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.
