Meow meet Haven! She has a quiet heart that is learning to trust again. At 8 years old she is a beautiful grey and white girl with gentle eyes that tell a story of perseverance. She came from a hoarding situation where living conditions were poor, and after her owner passed away, she was left alone - her world suddenly turned upside down. Despite everything she’s been through, Haven is, at her core, a lover. She just needs someone who understands that love, for her, begins softly. Haven thrives with slow, gentle movements and a calm presence. She may take a little time to fully open up, but as she begins to feel safe, her sweet and affectionate nature comes out. Given patience and kindness, she will blossom into a devoted lap cat, happily curling up close once she knows she is home. One of her most endearing quirks is her love of burrowing - blankets, soft beds, cozy corners...that’s her safe space, where she can relax and feel secure. Because of her past, Haven would do best in a peaceful, low-activity home where she can truly settle in and feel safe. She would make a wonderful companion for an older person or someone looking for a quiet, loving presence to share their days. Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm. All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted.

Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many that are not posted yet.

Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives.

No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so). We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.
