Romeow (also known as Romeoux ) is the kind of cat you fall for instantly. Found wandering in Prairie Village, this handsome black kitty may not have had the easiest start-but you'd never know it from his incredibly loving personality.

From day one in foster care, he's been pure sweetness:
nonstop purring
"air biscuits" for days
cheek rubs and endless snuggles

He's a gentle, affectionate companion who wants nothing more than to be close to his person. Romeow is the definition of a cuddlebug-soft, loving, and so easy to bond with. He's even shown interest in other cats and seems to enjoy their company.

A Note About Romeow's Health (FIV+)

Romeow is FIV-positive, which sounds scarier than it is. FIV is not contagious to humans and is mainly spread through deep bite wounds-not casual contact.

Many FIV+ cats live long, healthy lives, especially in indoor homes. They can safely live with other friendly, non-aggressive cats, and with regular vet care and a low-stress environment, they thrive.

In short: FIV is just a small part of Romeow's story-not what defines him.
