Judy Ann is a big, beautiful black cat with a quiet confidence and just enough sass to keep things interesting. She's a slow-to-warm girl, but once she decides you're safe, she settles in quickly -- it took her all of two days to come out of her shell in foster and claim a spot in her foster mom's home office, where she now "helps" with work. Judy Ann is playful well into adulthood and has a charming habit of tapping you for attention when she's ready for interaction.

She would thrive as the only cat in a quieter home and is best suited for adults or families with older, respectful children. Dogs are an unknown, but with the right introductions, she may adjust. As with all our cats, we're committed to making sure it's the right fit -- if it doesn't work out, Judy Ann will always have a safe place with us.

Judy Ann's story is also close to our hearts: she was rescued just one hour before a scheduled euthanasia, thanks to a first-time foster who saw her plea and stepped up.
