Bella was born in August 2022 and came to LCCR as an adult after being found as a stray at Gifford Pinchot State Park. She quickly adjusted to life inside, discovering that any soft surface such as beds, sofas, or blankets, are just the best thing ever invented. She also likes to look out windows and play with toys. She also adores being around her person--not as a lap cat, but she will follow her person around, offering moral support and company. She will sleep on the bed with you, too. She is a nice kitty presence in the house, not getting in trouble, having impeccable litter habitats, and there for hugs and pets. She likes to stand on her back legs when you have a treat for her.
Bella does have her requirements though. She is a tortie, which means she needs a cat savvy person to pick up on her cues when she doesn't want to be petted anymore (like many torties--she has "tortitude"). In that regard, a home with little kids is not going to work for Bella. She has done well with dogs in foster homes and coexists peacefully with other kitties who keep to themselves. Bella hates adoption events because they are loud and people stick their hands into her cage, so the best way to learn about her is to meet her at her foster home and talk to her foster mom.
Bella is currently living in a foster home in Lemoyne. Bella's adoption donation is $115 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing (negative for both), microchip, and spay. If you would like more information on Bella, please contact Dana at lovingcarecatrescue@gmail.com. All adopted kitties are to be kept as indoor-only pets.
