This rehoming isn't because of anything Jacob did wrong - it's a heartbreaking situation brought on by a cross-country move, temporary housing, and circumstances that make it impossible for him to stay with his family.
Jacob is a gentle, well-mannered indoor cat who enjoys calm companionship. He plays on his own schedule and appreciates having time and space to warm up - once he does, his sweet personality shines.
He does best in a quiet or calm home. Jacob is not comfortable around very young children, but he does wonderfully with older kids, adults, and especially seniors. He can live with other animals, as long as introductions are done slowly and thoughtfully.
