Meet BEANS at the Merriam PetSmart located at 5810 Antioch Rd, Merriam, KS 66202. You can adopt our cats from the adoption center at PetSmart. Adoption hours are 12–5 PM Monday–Saturday and 12–4 PM on Sundays.
Meet BEANS! This 2-year-old male weighs 11 lbs and wants a home where he can soak up all the love, feel safe, and lounge in a sunny spot all day long. He’s gentle and happiest just being near his person, whether that’s relaxing on the couch or quietly keeping you company. He lived with other cats in his previous home.
Beans tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) which is a life-long disease that keeps his immune system lowered. You can find more information on this virus at https://resources.bestfriends.org/article/fiv-cats-faqs-feline-immunodeficiency-virus. FIV+ cats can live long, healthy lives just like FIV- cats. They can even be housed together, which is explained in the link provided.
Beans will need to be a TOTALLY INDOOR CAT.
ADOPTING A CAT
Our cats have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated and tested for FIV and feline leukemia.
