Melody is a sweet girl who was understandably scared and confused when she first arrived at the shelter after losing the only home she’d ever known. Give her just a little time to settle in, though, and her wonderful personality quickly begins to shine through. She was described as calm, friendly, playful, cuddly, curious, independent, and a true lap cat, and she’s already showing us just how much she loves people by happily greeting visitors and rolling around in delight when they stop by for pets.

Melody previously lived with children ages 7 and up and was playful and gentle with them. She has a lovely balance of affectionate and independent, making her happy to curl up with her people for some quality time while also enjoying opportunities to explore and entertain herself. After such a big change, Melody is ready to find a loving home where she can settle in, feel secure, and be the sweet and affectionate companion she’s meant to be.
