Domestic Short Hair Cats Available for Adoption

Romeo is a 4-month-old gentle soul with a soft heart and an even softer purr. He can be a little timid when first meeting new people or experiencing new spaces, but don't let that fool you - this sweet boy just needs a moment to feel safe.

His love language? Churu. Offer him one and you'll see his confidence bloom. Once he trusts you, Romeo leans into pets, melts into affection, and purrs up a storm. He will need slower introductions in his new home while he builds confidence, but with patience and kindness, he blossoms beautifully.

Romeo is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and can be adopted with Juliet or into a home with other friendly pets.

ADOPTION FEES

Altered kitten* - $150
Pair of altered kittens - $220
Cat 6 months or older - $75
Senior cats 8 years or older- $50

Adoption fees cover the cost of care and veterinary services.

All adoptable cats have received:
Spay/neuter surgery
Distemper vaccine
Rabies vaccine (if over 16 weeks old)
De-wormer and flea prevention medication
Veterinary exam
Test for FIV and FeLV
Microchip

ADOPTION PROCESS
1. Review our adoption contract and application.

2. Call your vet and references to inform them that a rescue representative will be calling.

3. Submit an application, including the cat's name that you are interested in or description of what you are looking for.

4. You will be notified of the outcome of your application within 1-3 days.

5. If approved, you will be introduced to the foster to schedule a meeting within 5 days. Guidelines for the meeting are:

- Bring a carrier and be prepared to take the animal home directly from the meeting.

- Please be prepared to submit the adoption fee via electronic payment at the meeting.

- If all goes well, the cat will go home with you directly after the meeting. If you are not ready to adopt at the conclusion of the meeting, please understand that we may process other applications for the cat. Because we have a limited number of foster homes, we cannot hold cats past adoption.
