Igor is a handsome young cat who was rescued from a cat colony in Coney Island. He was immediately happy and comfortable in his foster home, settling in for pets, snacks and cuddles from the moment he arrived.
Igor loves a day filled with naps and play. For naps, he loves laying in a cat condo next to me while I work or finding a spot on top of a plush blanket. And he loves cuddling next to (or on) you while you sit on the couch with him!
For play, he hasn’t met a toy he doesn’t like! Some of his favorites are a catnip filled kicker, the cat dancer wire toy, and a wand with a ribbon attached to it. He also really enjoys watching bird videos on YouTube.
While Igor hasn’t met our dog just yet while he’s in his two-week quarantine period, he seems unfazed when he hears him barking from the other room. He even seems a little curious to investigate when he knows the dog is on the other side of the door.
Igor would do well in a home where he can play and get affection.
Igor was rescued with dental issues and is in need of surgery. We would be thrilled for a potential adopter to provide a larger adoption donation (between $250 and $400 total) and/or assistance crowdsourcing funds towards their necessary vet bills if possible.
This cat would prefer to be adopted alone and be the only cat in the home.
