DESCRIPTION

Meet Jake!

The adoption application can be found here:
https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat

Jake is currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, Colorado, or locations along their route.

Jake is a resilient little tabby with a heart as big as his journey. After overcoming several medical challenged early in life, this brave boy has discovered just how wonderful the indoor life can be-and he's fully embracing it.

Now that he knows he doesn't have to be the tough guy anymore, Jake's true personality shines. He's playful, curious, and absolutely adores chasing toys and romping around with his sister, Maggie (F). Whether it's crinkly ball or a feather wand, Jake is always ready for fun. Jake cherishes every moment of affection, leaning into pets and soaking up love whenever it's offered. Once he trusts you, he'll be your loyal companion, happy to curl up nearby and enjoy the comfort of a safe, loving home. Jake has come so far and is ready to find a family who will continue to show him that life is full of kindness, warmth, and care.

Jake is ~5 months old, neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and in great health. He does a great job of keeping his litterbox tidy. All he needs now is his forever home! He's never met a dog, but with slow introductions to a calm, cat-savvy pup, we think he could learn to love a new dog friend.

His littermate/foster sibling is Maggie (F)

Priority will be given to applicants interested in adopting a pair of kittens or who have patient, playful resident cats or dogs at home. Information on why adopting two kittens together is best for their short- and long-term health and behavior can be found here:

ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES:
Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and transportation costs. Also, when you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you’re doing more than giving your new family member a home. Each adoption fee sponsors a cat on the streets of Houston to get fixed, helping end the cycle of overpopulation in a rough environment. We thank you so much for your contribution to our efforts!
