Adoption Application:

Castor is a sleek, all black kitten with a shiny coat and an even shiner personality. This little lovebug absolutely adores being held and will happily melt into your arms the moment you pick him up. The reward? A purr that starts instantly and rumbles like a tiny, well-tuned machine.
Castor is a people-kitten through and through. He loves being near his human. With his gentle, affectionate nature and loyal little shadow energy, Castor would make a wonderful companion for anyone looking for a kitten who truly bonds with their people. If you're searching for a sweet, snuggly best friend wrapped in a beautiful black coat, Castor is ready to steal your heart.
Castor is ~3 months old, will be neutered before adoption, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, will be microchipped, and in great health. He does a great job of keeping his litterbox tidy. All he needs now is his forever home! We believe slow introductions to a calm, cat-savvy pup, we think he could learn to love a new dog friend.
Castor would thrive if adopted with one of his foster siblings. Priority will be given to applicants interested in adopting a pair of kittens or who have patient, playful resident cats or dogs at home. Information on why adopting two kittens together is best for their short- and long-term health and behavior can be found here:

Castor is currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, Colorado, or locations along their route.

ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES:
Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and transportation costs. Also, when you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you’re doing more than giving your new family member a home. Each adoption fee sponsors a cat on the streets of Houston to get fixed, helping end the cycle of overpopulation in a rough environment. We thank you so much for your contribution to our efforts!
