Our world changed overnight.

Our beloved human mom passed away young & unexpectedly, and just like that, everything we had ever known was gone. We had always lived safely inside a small apartment—it may not have been fancy, but it was filled with love, and that’s what mattered most. 💔

Our names are Grey Mist and Silk Stockings, and we’re about two years old. We lived alongside other kitties, all of us suddenly left without a plan. The apartment manager was going to simply open the door and turn us out onto the street.

Thankfully, This Is the Dog! Rescue stepped in just in time and saved us. Even in the middle of busy kitten season, when fosters are overflowing, they made space for us and gave us a second chance.

Now we’re hoping for something we once had—a loving home.

We are gentle, deserving souls who have only ever known indoor life and human companionship. We can be adopted together or separately, but what matters most is finding a home where we are safe, cared for, and loved again.

Please consider opening your heart to an adult cat. At two years old, we still have so much love to give, and we would be forever grateful to belong to a family again. 🏡💕
