Gracie is a bit of a mischief maker and lovebiter extraordinaire. When she's not busy fighting over your lap, she wants to rub all over your legs and makes adorable chirp noises when she's curious about something. She loves climbing as high as she can, staring at running water, and purring like there's no tomorrow. We understand it's more difficult to place young adult cats that aren't "perfect" (well, we think they're perfect, but you know what we mean), but Gracie would still love to meet you! Like for reals tho! Oh and did we mention she loves kittens? You'll often find her playing tag at the adoption center with any willing lill guy in sight. Shes truly wonderful!
Gracie was found with a severe URI in a parking lot in Kentucky. After being treated for it, she was transported to Chicago and underwent corrective eye surgeries. Gracie's left inner eyelid adhered back to her eye, which has left her permanently “winky”. Despite her rough beginnings, she justs want to play and be yours! She's been waiting for so long, don't let her eye scare you away. She's perfect and a absolute favorite with all our volunteers!
