Indigo would thrive in a quiet, loving home with an experienced cat guardian who understands feline behavior and body language.

She’s a very sweet, talkative girl who gets along well with dogs and other cats — she currently lives peacefully with my dog, my son’s dog, and his two cats. Indigo loves conversation and will even “say” “Love you!” back when you tell her. It’s one of her most charming traits.

She’s in good health, well-fed, and enjoys spending time in the custom catio we built just for her. She truly appreciates having safe outdoor enrichment.

Indigo has always been good with my kids and has never scratched them. However, after a few accidental run-ins (like stepping on her tail), she reacted with growling and scratching — which is normal startled-cat behavior. Unfortunately, my fear response made things worse, and she’s become anxious around me. Cats are incredibly intuitive, and she senses that tension.

Because of this, I believe Indigo would flourish in a calm, confident home where she can feel secure and understood. She is a beautiful girl — just as stunning now as she was as a kitten — and she deserves a home where she feels completely safe and loved. Indigo lives in Portland with her family and her rehoming fee is $50.
