Jonesy is making his official debut to the adoption market! This handsome 6-8-year-old creature is long & lean at a whopping 14lbs. His impressive stature is nothing though, compared to his incredibly *cool* demeanor. He is a calm, laid back guy who is essentially bomb proof when it comes to other cats and dogs. Nothing shakes his chill-except maybe the vacuum cleaner. He is also snuggly af and incredibly friendly to everyone. Jonesy is known to put his paws on your chest when he wants hugs and will lay by your side whenever the occasion calls for it. And the occasion is literally any time you sit down. He has a strong head butt that is hard to ignore when he decides it's time for you to stop doing what you're doing and give him some love. Jonesy also loves to bat around a toy or two and has a serious athletic side.

Jonesy came from a horrible hoarding/neglect situation where he was living outdoors in a shed with 150+ other cats. He watched 70 of his friends die after an outbreak of calicivirus. He was one of the lucky ones who was able to be saved and removed from the location.

FIV is only spread through deep bite wounds (not through casual contact), which means FIV+ cats can safely live with FIV- cats in peaceful homes. Jonesy’s laid-back, non-confrontational personality makes him an excellent candidate for a multi-cat household.
