Sweet Buddy can't wait to leave the shelter behind for a loving home and receive some extra TLC in his senior years. Though shy with new people, Buddy was described by his past owner as very loving with humans he trusts. When content and receiving pets, he would show off his extra-loud purr. He has been overwhelmed to find himself at the shelter, and has been feeling quite shut-down here. We expect that, given a bit of decompression outside the shelter, Buddy will soon treat his new owners to lots of purrs and moments of calm companionship.
Buddy has lived successfully with another cat and with dogs in the past. At this stage in his life, if Buddy's new home includes other pets, we recommend very gradual intros and calm, polite furry friends. He is likely to settle most easily into an overall quiet household with older or no children.
