Remo is a lovable lug with a giant head that matches his giant heart. His history, spirit, and resilience is why we choose to keep helping these cats thousands of times over.
Remo was found slinking around the perimeter of a cat colony that a dedicated caretaker visits 365 days a year. He was quickly trapped and brought inside. Although he was very timid at first and earned the nickname Remo Burrito because of how he burrowed into his bedding to feel safe, we knew this fella was destined to live the indoor life.
Remo is delighted in the company of other cats and has blossomed in their presence- therefore it's imperative that he goes to a home where there is a cat that needs a friend or adopted with one of his foster mates. He snuggles them sweetly and is a calm dude who is happy to be chillin' with the homies. Remo also loves people, and will awkwardly bump his big ole noggin on your hand for scritches. He has bravely learned that being held and loved on by his foster is actually quite enjoyable. Remo may be a bit nervous at first, but once this guy knows he is safe he'll give you his undivided attention and love.
Remo would do well with a cat savvy family who knows that a bit of time will reveal the absolute love bug he is and respects that not all cats are perfectly outgoing from the start. While Remo hasn't met a dog in foster and his reaction to them is unknown, we think this young and adaptable fella could handle a variety of situations as long as there are proper introductions and trust established.
Remo is estimated to be 2.5 years old. He has been neutered, vaccinated, flea treated, dewormed, microchipped, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Do yourself and the other cats in your life a favor and bring this love bug home!
