Meet Pixie!

This gentle lady tells a story with her soulful eyes. Coming from the euthanasia list at an overcrowded shelter, Pixie wants nothing more than to lounge around and enjoy her life. She is cautious in the beginning and will need a few days to warm up, but it doesn't take her long! She can't resist her curiosity drive and starts to explore her surroundings relatively quickly.

Once Pixie trusts you, she will start to hang out in the room with you and seek out gentle pets. Occasionally she will let out a little meow to greet you when you first enter. Pixie has what we suspect was a previous fracture in her tail, but it only gives her more personality and doesn't appear to bother her at all. Her foster mom can tell that with time, Pixie's sweetness will continue to shine through and she will make a lovely companion for someone.

Pixie is a pretty independent lady and keeps herself occupied with snoozing and playing. She enjoys a good dangle toy or anything she can bat across the floor. She does well with other cats but could also be a solo.

Pixie can be very playful at times but she also enjoys a good nap (she loves cat tree hammocks & fleece blankets). She LOVES looking out the window watching what's going on in the neighborhood. She does well with gentle, cat savvy kiddos.
