Meet Monk Fruit. Monk Fruit and his friends were all living on the streets of New Castle before they came to their foster home. The kind family who was caring for them reached out to TCR to help them find their forever homes. They are all named after different types of sweeteners because they are all just too dang sweet! Every single one of them is a sweetheart that turns into a purring machine after a few pets.
Monk Fruit is the shyest kitty of the sweeteners, but he is still just as sweet and loving once he gets to know you. After a few good pets and scratches, he turns into a full blown purring machine who flops all over, shows his belly, and begs for more love. It may take some time for him to fully come out of his shell, so he will need a family who can be patient with him.
Monk Fruit loves all of his cat friends in his foster home and would do well in a home with another cat, but he would probably also be okay as a single cat. He hasn't met a dog in foster, but probably would do best in a home without a dog because of how shy and easily startled he is. Monk Fruit would likely do very well in a family with older cat savvy children who can be calm and gentle with him while they gain his trust.
Monk Fruit is estimated to be about 1 year old. He has been neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated, microchipped, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Apply for this sweet guy today!
