Introducing Flint! He is a handsome young man looking for the perfect home. Flint and his siblings were found outside. We don't know what challenges they faced while trying to survive outside, but that time has made him a bit cautious around people and new environments.
Flint is, well, a bit wimpy. He is unsure of people and doesn't quite yet understand what being a cat means. His current motto is "Hiss first. Ask questions later". Underneath all that noise is just a scared little guy trying to be brave. Flint doesn't go beyond hissing. His foster mom pets him and he melts and closes his eyes. Flint is a conflicted little guy-"Don't touch me! Actually, no, pet me!" He does have a soft spot for Churu and loves to snack. When he's relaxed he sprawls out across a cat tower and looks like a big fluffy panther with his grey highlighted tail.
Flint would be a good friend for another cat that would like to cuddle and keep him company. He would be a great companion for your cat(s), and will probably warm up faster to a cat than a human. No dogs please. We recommend that Flint go to a patient home that has cat experience with no young children. He will need a home to provide him time to adjust and give him grace while getting used to his new home. He comes off scared but he's really sweet. He just doesn't want to show it yet. Give him time and he will warm up to his people.
Flint is around 9 months old and has been neutered, dewormed, flea treated, microchipped, vaccinated, and has tested negative for FIV and FeLV. If you have a soft spot for a fluffy, sassy, big baby, looking for a cuddly cat for your cat, and feel that your home may be a good fit for Flint, then please apply today!
