Meet Chilly!

Chilly is an extremely sweet natured kitten who was brought in from the outdoors very sick and fearful. She has come a LONG way so far and continues to make great progress! Over time this sweet girl has been coming out of her shell and feeling more comfortable every day. Her foster mom believes with a little patience and extra TLC, this gentle girl will continue to blossom into the happy ginger house cat she was meant to be!

Chilly LOVES churu and wet food. She can easily be persuaded to get close with a tasty churu treat. She sometimes closes her eyes in enjoyment and purrs her heart out while eating because she loves them so much! Churu has been the key to her heart in gaining her trust- as soon as she gets a whiff, she can't resist! She easily accepts and very much enjoys pets and scratches and starts purring loudly to show her appreciation. At times she still needs a little reminder that you are there for her to love on when you first approach her. A few gentle pets and her low motor purr begins!

Chilly loves other cats and definitely feels more at ease in their presence. She gains confidence from them and is often found snuggling with a feline friend during nap time. She also loves to hang out in the hammock part of the cat tree or on a soft fuzzy blankie. Her favorite toys in foster have been the wand toy, spirals, and wrestling with her feline foster mates after the sun has gone down!
