Purrito, a black domestic shorthair, is the kind of cat you notice immediately and not just because he's a sleek little black shadow.
It's his eye.
His left eye has this tiny, permanent cross-eyed kink to it, like he's mid-wink or quietly judging your snack choices. It gives him a goofy, offbeat expression that somehow matches him perfectly. Add in the occasional "crumb mustache" he earns from diving a little too enthusiastically into his meals, and you've got a face full of personality before he even does anything.
Purrito is HUNGRY! For food, yes, but more than anything for attention and PLAYTIME. He doesn't just like people and toys, he actively seeks them out. If you sit down, he's there. If you're busy, he's helping. If you exist in his vicinity, he would like to be involved.
He came into care back in November with his siblings in pretty rough shape, but you wouldn't know it now. He's fully healed and has put all that behind him and these days he's focused on the important things: companionship, snacks, and making sure you never feel alone.
He does well with other cats and could likely adjust to a calm dog with a slow introduction.
If you're looking for a cat with a perfectly imperfect face, a big presence, and zero respect for personal space, Purrito is ready.
His adoption fee is $75 and includes spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccines, preventatives and microchip ID.
