Firulais is a domestic shorthair who was originally adopted from us as a tiny kitten in 2021. Through no fault of his own, he has been returned three times within the past year due to circumstances and environments that were not the right fit for his sensitive nature.
He is the sweetest, shyest little boy who wants nothing more than a human to be his cuddle buddy and best friend. Firulais is very shy in new environments and needs time to feel safe and secure. He will likely hide at first, and his future adopter must be patient, understanding, and committed to giving him the space and time he needs to decompress.
With gentle one-on-one enrichment, consistency, and love, Firulais slowly gains confidence and shows his affectionate, loyal side. Once he trusts you, he truly shines.
Firulais would do best in a calm, quiet home, ideally as an only cat, where he can receive plenty of individual attention and not feel overwhelmed. A peaceful environment and a patient adopter will make all the difference for him.
