This handsome long boy is Theo. He was found on Peacock Gap Trail at Alum Rock Park in poor shape. He weighed only 7.5 lbs still had stitches from eye removal surgery and had old scratches on his body and remaining eye. While Theo’s eye works it was likely injured in a cat fight as described by the vet. He began treatment for Giardia and within a week his strength energy and sweet personality began to shine. Theo is still a young cat learning the world as a predator with monocular vision. You’ll notice he has adapted to this by shaking his head a little when he is getting ready to pounce jump or judge distance. Despite Theo’s rough start in life he’s still affectionate curious and a goober. He is very well behaved for a stray cat letting his foster human trim his claws while he naps. Theo loves being an indoor cat now and still gets the occasional “catio” time. He enjoys ample space to do acrobatics while chasing his wand or catnip lizard. He also loves to play hide and ambush with his humans. After a long nap Theo adores belly rubs and eskimo kisses. He has a great temperament; with bonding time training and slow exposure he could become the purrfect companion!
We are helping Theo's current guardian to rehome him. Please fill out our online application and we will forward to them. Adoption fee would be donation to Furry Friends Rescue. If you have specific questions please send them through and we will put you in touch with his current guardian.
