Meet the too-cool tortie, Tasha!! Soon after Tasha came to FWACC, our medical team noticed an issue with her leg. So now, this totally tubular tortie is a tri-pawd! Tasha will need her sutures removed on 5/7/26 (at no cost to her adopter). Over the next 2 weeks, Tasha should be housed in a small room and not have the opportunity to jump up/down or climb, as she continues to recover from pelvic limb amputation surgery. At the end of this period if she is doing well, the activity restrictions may be gradually lifted. This will allow her to build up her strength and balance as she adjusts to life as an amputee.
