Domestic Short Hair Cats Available for Adoption

Meet Jellybean! This sweet black kitty has a heart as soft as her silky fur. She may start off a little shy, quietly observing from the safety of a cozy corner, but give her a little patience and gentle attention and she blossoms into the ultimate love bug (with bonus cuddles when she’s feeling extra brave).

Once you’ve earned her trust, Jellybean becomes your devoted little shadow, happily following you from room to room just to be near her favorite human. In her world, there’s no such thing as too many lovings. And treats? Those are absolutely her love language.

When she’s not soaking up affection, you’ll find her perched by the window keeping watch like a tiny detective, or zooming up and down the stairs with delightful bursts of playful energy. Sweet, loyal, curious, and full of quiet devotion, Jellybean is the kind of indoor companion who will steal your heart — and happily curl up right inside it.

Jelly Bean is a 1.5-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This cat's adoption fee is $100 and includes vaccinations, microchip, spay, and FeLV/FIV test. We would love for you to meet this cat and see if she might be a good fit for your home.

The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals.

We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!)

Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed.

Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).
