Jefferson is a 2yearold brown tabby gentleman with gorgeous green eyes, a gentle heart, and a courageous spirit. He may only have three working legs, but he moves through life with confidence, grace, and plenty of charm.
Jefferson came from a hoarding situation where he lived closely with many other cats. When his human caregiver was hospitalized, he and his feline companions were separated and sent to different shelters. When he arrived at FCS, we discovered he has no use of his front left leg and had a nasty infection brewing. But don't worry! He seems to have adapted just fine to what was probably a birth defect. Doctors say there is no need for amputation, just regular nail trims, and watching out for arthritis in his old age. Despite all of this upheaval, Jefferson has remained sweet, resilient, and hopeful.
Now, this brave boy is ready for a safe, loving home where he'll never have to worry again. If you're looking for a calm, affectionate companion with a story that will touch your heart, Jefferson may be the perfect match.
