Aoife made quite the entrance when she was found at a community cat colony around Christmas — instead of hiding, she strutted right out, meowing at her rescuer and demanding pets like she'd been waiting her whole life for this moment. Clearly, Aoife missed the memo on acting “feral.”

Although the vet estimates she's around 6 months old, Aoife has an old-soul vibe that makes you wonder if she's actually wiser than her years. She's incredibly friendly, affectionate, and people-oriented — the kind of cat who would happily be a full-time lap companion if given the chance. Her dream day includes lounging on the bed, soaking up attention, and sleeping peacefully, preferably near her favorite human.

Aoife is currently unfazed by the resident cats' hesitation to welcome her into the clan — she's confident, unbothered, and perfectly content doing her own thing. She doesn't hide, doesn't act fearful, and clearly feels right at home indoors.
