DESCRIPTION
Meet Willow — A Sweet, Shy Companion Bonded to Her Sister Lina
Willow is an 1 year-old brown tabby with a gentle, quiet nature. She has lived her whole life with her sister Lina, and the two are deeply bonded—so they’re looking for a home together.
Willow can be shy at first and prefers calm, peaceful environments. Once she feels safe, she becomes a loving, soft-hearted companion who enjoys gentle interactions and spending time close by. She does well with children, enjoys the company of other cats, and feels most confident when she’s with Lina.
Willow isn’t a fan of being picked up and may retreat to a cozy spot when she’s feeling overwhelmed, but with patience, she warms up beautifully.
She’ll thrive in a quiet home that can introduce her slowly and start her off in a small, safe space. If you’re looking for a bonded pair who will fill your home with gentle sweetness, Willow and Lina are ready to meet you!
These two are a bonded pair who can’t imagine life without each other, so they’ll need to be adopted together. To help make that happen, only one adoption fee applies!
Be sure to check the "shelter information" box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Michael R. Frey Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours! Both of our locations are open Tuesdays and Wednesdays 12-5 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays 12-7 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays 11 a.m.-5 p.m. For more information on our adoption process, including requirements and fees, visit https://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/animalservices/adopt
