Skipper is a ten-week-old dilute calico. She has a little smudge on her nose and perfectly round eyes that give her the permanent expression of someone who just overheard a devastating secret at a dinner party. When by herself, a sudden breeze could ruin her day. But put her next to her mother, Swallowtail, and she suddenly thinks she runs the place. Emboldened by her mother's presence, she becomes a feisty little bean whose hobbies include floor hockey, dismantling interactive toys, and waiting until you are entirely asleep so she can chew on your toes. Adopters be warned: do not try to stop her when she gets the zoomies. You will fail. But, if you catch her during her downtime, the tough-guy act completely evaporates. She turns into a docile puddle who loves a belly rub!
Skipper must be adopted with Swallowtail. The codependency is absolute. If Skipper ever gets spooked, just setting her next to her mom fixes her instantly. The wiring between them is so deep that if you pet Swallowtail, Skipper will start purring by proxy. You simply cannot have the tiny, toe-biting shadow without the endlessly patient mother she relies on.
Skipper is 3 months old and bonded with Swallowtail. They must go home together.
