Thadeous is almost unrecognizable as the cat he was when he was rescued. He was a farm cat who had suffered an accident with either a fence or some type of machine. We will spare you the details, but we were not confident we could save his leg or even his life at first. These days, Thadeous looks like he ate five of that cat for breakfast and doesn’t have so much as a limp. Somehow, he stayed trusting and loving of people despite his painful ordeal,
even if he still eats like he expects to starve. Everyone at the shelter loves Thadeous, and Thadeous loves everyone. Unfortunately, he didn’t get along so well with the cat already in the home that adopted him. Thadeous would probably do best in a situation where he is the first or only cat or gets adopted with one of his roommates from the shelter. He also can not be allowed to free-freed since his appetite is not rational and has no brakes.
There are lots of big cuddly irresistible boys to choose from!
Thadeous was born January of 2024. He is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. As always, cat/kitten adoptions are free will donation to approved applicants. ****The first step in the adoption process is to complete the application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org****
