I heard a rumor…that Uma is up for adoption! I used to be an outdoor cat, but at 9 years old, it’s time to retire! Hopefully my furrever family is just around the corner – goodness knows I’m ready to settle down and relax!
I am a sweet and quiet lady who thrives on gentle affection and a calm environment. Make sure to scratch my cheeks and massage my shoulders, and I’ll be your best friend! I might be able to live with other calm feline friends after a proper introduction, or I could fill your household with love all on my own!
I will be the lucky recipient of a dental treatment, courtesy of the Vogel Veterinary Hospital (VVH) at the MCSPCA. This will happen after adoption, and we will help you schedule it. This will be provided for you at no cost!
I am also FIV+. FIV stands for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus and means that my immune system is weaker than a cat without FIV. Being FIV+ does not affect my quality of life one bit. With an FIV+ cat, the most important thing is to try to avoid unnecessary stressors as well as other cats that are sick, since FIV+ cats are more likely to catch an illness if they are exposed to it.
Come adopt me soon – I’m ready for my happily ever after!
