Valbee is a sweet young male (~2 years old) cat looking for his forever home. He showed up at a colony in Ingham county in December, and it was clear that he was not a feral cat. He could have been dumped or got lost from his owner. When he arrived at SBZ, he was very sick and skinny. There was a high chance he was not going to make it, but he pulled through and is healthy and ready for his home. Valbee is very vocal. He loves to "coo" and talk to other cats and to humans. He's VERY affectionate, and he enjoys pets, belly rubs, and giving "kisses" on your cheek. It's hard not to love this sweet young boy! He loves to play with other cats, so another active cat in the household would really help him continue to come out of his shell and help him get his "zoomies" out. He seems unphased by the small dog at his foster home. He is still learning that being picked up and being held are good things. His foster mom is working with him each day to continue helping him get comfortable with being picked up. He can't wait to eat (wet and dry food), so you can win his heart easily just by dropping kibble in his bowl. He enjoys playing with practically any toy. He displays his hunting skills very well when you play with wand toys with him. He's VERY fast and can leap high in the air when you play with him. This sweet boy would be a great addition to any home.
