Meet Koa. Koa came to us from a local cat colony that we are helping with TNR. She came up to one of the feeders one day super skinny and with a serious injury to her hind end. We estimate her date of birth to be about 9/1/2025. We are not exactly sure what caused the damage to her and we were not certain if she would be able to hold her bowels like a normal kitty. Koa had such a will to live that she kept eating well and took her meds like a champ. She also learned that people were not so bad and could offer lots of good snuggles. Koa has healed up completely and goes to the bathroom like a normal kitty. She is a little shy of strangers but loves a good snuggle once she gets to know you. She loves to play with other cats too. Koa is now spayed, up to date with vaccines and microchipped. She tested negative for Feluk/FIV and is litterbox trained. Her adoption fee is $75. If you are interested in adopting Koa, please visit our website www.lharinc.org go to Adopt and complete the cat adoption application.
