Hello, my name is Dove. I came to Good Home when some kind humans took me out of an uncomfortable living situation in Crown Heights. Now I'm in foster care and I'm slowly learning how nice it can be to have a comfy, cozy home to explore and socialize in!

I'm very curious about my household. While it takes some time and patience for me to come out of my shell, once I feel comfortable I like to know what my people are up to. I have an inquisitive nature and love to go exploring. I recently discovered the basement in my foster home and that was a fun adventure for me!

I've also discovered how much I love pats. When people are gentle and go slow with me, I reward them with big purrs. And while I may not want to be right next to my people all the time, I very much enjoy watching what the humans are doing. I want to be included! I am a sweet spirit, who has truly charmed my foster humans.

I would be happiest in a quiet home with patient humans. When there's a lot of loud noises or sudden movements I hide, so I probably wouldn't do well in a home with children or dogs. And while I have lived peacefully with other gentle cats, I am quite happy as a single cat living with humans who balance engaging with me and giving me my space. I like the company of my humans, but I also need a cozy place to curl up in on my own.
I'd love a calm, loving home that loves me for the unique, gentle soul I am. Could that home be yours?
