- Loves watching cat TV and looking out the window!
- Not a fan of being touched on his left leg
- Has done well with dogs and other cats
This cat can be fearful and may need extra time to adjust to a new home. We've seen good progress here at the ARL, but don't be surprised if it takes several weeks for this cat to become comfortable in a new place. This cat may hide and just observe at first - maybe for quite a while - and that is perfectly normal. Young children are too much for this cat right now, so we are highly recommending a quiet, mature home. We are happy to provide post-adoption resources. If you can give this cat extra time, patience and TLC, please consider adopting! It will be so rewarding to watch them gain confidence and start enjoying all the good things in life!
This cat is part of our Silver Paw Pets program, a foster and adoption program for pets who arrive at the ARL after their owner either passed away or was moved to a care facility where they could not take their pet. If you're interested in adopting this pet, please visit the location it's at or reach out if there is contact info listed above. If you'd like to foster this pet or another Silver Paw Pet, please email Mary at mmccarroll@arl-iowa.org.
