Meet May and May May, a sweet bonded pair from an overcrowded shelter in Aztec, New Mexico. At around 2 years old, the girls are likely sisters and are absolutely one another’s perfect sidekick. They have STUNNING big green eyes, friendly personalities, and love attention.These lovable sweet peas enjoy pets, playtime, and being part of whatever you’re doing. They’re curious, funny, and make wonderful companions. They also get along well with other cats.One of their favorite things is hanging out at the window watching birds and squirrels like it’s their favorite TV show. They also love toys, sunbeams, and Amazon boxes of all sizes.If you’re looking for two affectionate, entertaining kitties to brighten your home, May and May May are ready to meet you.

Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives!

$300 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes. These 'guardian kittens' help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens.
$200 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes. These 'guardian cats' help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens.
$200 for kittens (6 months & under)
$125 for cats (older than 6 months)
$75 for senior cats (8 years or older)

Shelters usually guess at the breed, so there is no guarantee, as we don't DNA test our foster pets. Our adoption process is:

1. Fill out our Adoption Application online. We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet.

2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting. Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member!
