Arial "Doralee" Roswell - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Denver, Colorado

Coming Soon: Doralee and her bonded bestie, Steel Magnolia, are in foster and will return to the shelter on the afternoon of September 24. To meet them once they're back, please submit an adoption application. You can also place a $25 Priority Paw Hold with your application to have the first 48 hours to meet them and decide.

Doralee does everything with her whole self. If she wants to play, she is PLAY. If she wants to eat, she is EAT. If she wants to cuddle, she is CUDDLE. She throws her entire being into whatever she's doing, and she's a wonderful reminder to live in the present and embrace every moment with your whole heart.

Much like her 9-to-5 namesake, Doralee Rhodes, she's smart, sassy, beautiful, and loves with her whole heart. When she's ready to cuddle, her big, easy purr will melt you. The moment you touch her, her little motor starts going, and you'll be hard-pressed to resist giving her all the love she asks for!

Doralee is WILD about play. She's one of the most active kitties in her litter, and if there isn't a toy nearby, she'll happily find one. When she gets overstimulated, she can become a little protective of her toys, so she'll do best with plenty of appropriate outlets for all that energy. She also needs lots of vertical space to climb, explore, and survey her domain, so cat trees and cat shelving will be your best friends.

Doralee is also extremely food motivated. Give her a Churu, and you'll have her undivided attention! Her tiny paws will wrap around your fingers and hold on tight until she decides she's had her fill. It's ridiculously adorable and an excellent way to win her heart. It might even help you teach her a few tricks!

Doralee absolutely needs a feline playmate. She is bonded to Steel Magnolia, and these two make a wonderful pairing. Together, they're a perfect combination of play, personality, cuddles, and chaos. They're ready to find their forever home where they can do everything together with their whole selves.
