After living with 33 other animals in long-term filth, confinement, and neglect, it's completely understandable that Oatmeal feels nervous and unsure as he adjusts to his new surroundings.
Despite his fears, you can see the sweetness in him-there's a softness about Oatmeal that shows he wants to trust and love, he just needs time. With patience and gentle reassurance, we hope he will continue to gain confidence and slowly come out of his shell, revealing the loving boy he's meant to be.
