Melon is a happy, adventurous, and outgoing kitten who greets life with curiosity and confidence. He loves to play, explore, and interact with people, making him a wonderful choice for anyone looking to add a fun, affectionate kitten to their family. Whether he's pouncing on toys or checking in for attention, Melon brings nonstop smiles.

Melon's journey began at Animal Care Centers of NYC (Staten Island), where he arrived with his mom, Xena, and his siblings after being surrendered on 3/25/26 following a family loss that upended their world.

When we saw them listed as "JUST CAME IN!", we stepped up as a New Hope Partner, saving them as our very first rescue during our probationary period. We requested the family on 3/27, and four days later transported them through Brewster, NY and straight into foster care, where they have been thriving ever since.

Melon would be happiest adopted with one of his siblings, Lime or Papaya, or with his mom, Xena, giving him the comfort of a familiar companion and adopters the joy of watching a bonded relationship grow.
