Meet Slush. Around 5–6 years old, Slush is a quiet little lady with a soft heart and an even softer love for cozy afternoons. She’s looking for a peaceful, low-traffic home where she can truly relax and feel safe. No dogs or young kiddos for this girl, she prefers her world calm and predictable.
Slush is a professional napper and a part-time cuddle bug. She values her alone time, but when she’s ready for affection, she leans right in and soaks up the pets. In the evenings, you’ll find her curled up next to you on the couch, perfectly content being your sweet little couch potato.

Paws and Prayers cats are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, FIV/FeLV tested (neg), dewormed, current on flea/tick prevention, and microchipped at the time of adoption. They are litter box trained unless otherwise noted. Please be aware we do not walk around standing & holding our shelter cats - this is unnatural to them, and we like to keep them as comfortable as possible. Please read the entire bio before emailing the foster with questions. Meet and greets are not arranged unless an adoption application is filled out and approved and are by appointment only.

Resident pets of all applicants must have had routine veterinary care, be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines per the recommendations of your vet, current on heartworm tests and prevention (dogs only). We will verify these records; giving your veterinarian permission to speak with us will help expedite the processing of your application. Should your pet have a medical issue that may prohibit any of these, please note that on your application and we will also verify this with your veterinarian.
