Hello, I'm Phoenix! I was found as a young rural stray: hungry, covered in ticks, miserable, and not sure how or who to trust. My first home took me in, got me proper vet care, and helped me recover, but I would love a setting where people can spend more time with me! I purr readily, accept pets from trusted friends, and show interest in my surroundings and catnip toys. It's not clear how I would react to other pets or too much stimulation, as I've had a rough time until recently. I would do well in a home that will let me recover from lingering fear and uncertainty, and work on bringing out the best parts of my personality with gentle love!
