Whether she’s executing a perfectly timed "zoomie" or claiming your keyboard as her personal daybed, Dahlia lives life on her own terms. She’s a master of the slow blink, a professional treat-negotiator, and living proof that black cats aren't bad luck—they’re elite-tier companions. Dahlia gets along with everyone, cats, kids, dogs, and adults!
When she isn't busy judging birds from the window, you can find her tucked into the sunniest spot in the house, recharging her "void" energy for her next midnight adventure. Dahlia is full grown around 2 years old and is about 7 pounds.
If you’d like to meet Dahlia, please fill out a cat adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a meet with an approved adopter! You can also meet Dahlia at our weekly adoption event every Saturday 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at PetSmart Eastgate. Our cats are fully vetted and we require indoor-only homes. All other pets in the home must be spayed/neutered and up-to-date on all vaccines. We will not send cats to home where they will be declawed as it is a harmful practice that can cause lifelong physical and behavioral problems. Our cats are all spayed/neutered, vaccinated, combo tested, dewormed, and microchipped.
