Some of the most beautiful souls just need a little time to blossom — and Dolly is the perfect example. This special older lady (around 7–8 years old) came to us as a terrified stray. When she first arrived, she stayed curled up in a tight little ball, too scared to trust anyone. Thanks to a loving foster from our Bridgetown location, she slowly began to come out of her shell — and what a beautiful transformation it’s been.
Now, Dolly greets her trusted people with the cutest flop-and-roll and makes the sweetest air biscuits. She loves gentle pets and scritches (though she’s not a fan of being picked up). Wand toys, crinkly paper, boxes, and lickable treat sticks are some of her favorite things.
She’s still shy, quiet, and easily startled, and would thrive in a calm, loving home where she can feel safe and cherished — ideally with no kids and no other pets. Dolly is currently back at our Bridgetown location, patiently waiting for her forever home.
