Oreo came into rescue from an outdoor colony at the end of 2025 with a noticeable limp. After veterinary evaluation, we discovered he had a femoral head fracture. Oreo bravely underwent surgery to repair the injury and has now fully healed. He’s feeling great and ready to start the next chapter of his life with a loving forever family.

Oreo is a shy and gentle soul who needs a little time to feel safe around new people. His wonderful foster mom has been helping him learn that humans can be kind and loving, and he’s made great progress. Now he just needs a patient family willing to continue that journey with him.

The best home for Oreo will be one that allows him to adjust at his own pace and build trust on his terms. Once he feels comfortable,
you’ll see what an amazing boy he truly is. He doesn’t have a mean bone in his body—just a soft heart that needs understanding.
