George - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Chicago, Illinois

Meet George! This little guy transffered into Anti Cruelty to recieve some medical attention and is now looking for a loving forever family! George used to be a stray cat but was so friendly and in need of medical support that his previous shelter took him in to help him out. George is a Special Care pet due to the fact that he recieved a surgery that should help with blockages in the future at Anti Cruelty, but will need a little more monitoring and presence from his perfect forever home. George went to foster to recover from his surgery, and his foster gave wonderful insight into George, mentioning, "George is a sweet, loving fella who enjoys spending time with people. He's a social guy who will come right up to you when he's ready for some pets and affection, but he also appreciates having some time to himself. Big fan of biscuit making as well!" If you would like to meet George and potentially adopt, stop by our Adoption Center at 510 N. LaSalle to meet them and all of their friends. We offer same-day adoptions, free parking, and our team will guide you through every step of the adoption or foster process.
