Gentle, sweet, and oh so magestic, Ellie is ready to meet her forever people! Ellie originally came into care after being surrendered by a previous owner to Chicago Animal Care and Control. Ellie is such a darling, her favorite sport is cuddling and she is always happy for some pets and loves. She spends some time playing, especially with her wiggle worm toy, catnip banana, and ball tower. However, she also enjoys her daily pets and nap time near the radiator. Ellie gets so excited for breakfast that she dances on her hind legs when she sees you carrying her dish :) She is super food motivated and also loves treats!

In her foster home, Ellie has done great with other resident adult cats. She takes a minute to get to know them, but is happy to have the companionship. She would do well in a home that was multi cat or she would be very successful as a solo pet as well. She would most enjoy a predictable household, she has not yet met dogs or small children. She is independent enough to be fine with her humans at work during the day, or would gladly be your work from home buddy.
