Ollie is a big, handsome boy, weighing in at more than 14 pounds. You’d expect a cat his size to be bold and outgoing, but Ollie is actually a gentle soul who’s still learning that the world can be kind.
He first appeared as a stray at his foster mom’s home in August 2025—hungry, cautious, and interested but unsure about people. Since then, he’s become braver every single day. He now seeks out attention and affection, and when he’s feeling especially comfortable, he’ll roll around and show off his big, fluffy belly. Ollie greets his foster mom with a sweet, scratchy meow and wide, hopeful eyes that very clearly ask for treats.
After an unknown but clearly difficult period outdoors, Ollie was finally brought inside in December. He adjusted beautifully—he was already litter‑box trained and has never scratched furniture. At around 3 years old, he’s left his kitten antics behind. These days, he prefers multiple naps and quiet companionship. He’s not a velcro cat, but he loves sharing space and relaxing near his person. He’s observant, learns routines quickly, and especially enjoys settling in during long movies or sporting events—perfect opportunities to drift into a cozy nap. While he isn’t quite ready for full-body snuggles, he happily leans into chin, cheek, and ear scratches.
Because of his past, Ollie will thrive best in a calm, patient home with no small children—somewhere his boundaries will be respected and his confidence can continue to grow at his own pace. He is learning that not everything is scary, but he still needs understanding humans who will let trust develop naturally.
Ollie is FIV+, so he will need to remain indoors and have regular vet check ups. Otherwise, he is wonderfully healthy. He is fully vetted, recently neutered, and microchipped.
Ollie is a gentle, observant, affectionate boy who just needs the right family to show him he’s safe, loved, and finally home.
